Leading in a Digital Enterprise – the soccer model

To become a Digital Enterprise is a major challenge for most organizations – and in particular their management. The demand of much more agility requires – amongst others – new processes for interacting and for leading. Peter Drucker had suggested team sports as a metaphor to improve leading. Upon this, I have build a new model suggesting to copy the way soccer coaches today lead their high performance teams for managing in the industry. Soccer Coaches are under extreme pressure and have largely optimized team leading. Managers who apply those new ways have a chance to become much more successful. (This is also explained at detail in my new book published by Springer)
